The people that run the place were incredibly welcoming, very friendly and with lovely italian accents. I enjoyed a starter of chicken wrapped in bacon, stuffed with cheese and garlic in a tomato sauce which was as delicious as it sounds and a penne bolognese. Now i have been to rome itself before and this bolognese is better than half of the places i went to there! My partner could not get enough of the food and ordered 6 plates of assorted foods, loving each one! I tried some of his fish and it tasted like it had been caught and served to me straight away. Sitting in the restaurant, it is easy to imagine you are in italy, perhaps near a sea front. It is definitely penriths hidden gem!January 14, 2017
